In Odoo, We can post attractive blogs. Odoo providing beautiful user interfaces. So we can expose our functional or technical discussions through news or other media. These blogs can be easily shared on other social media like Twitter, Facebook, Google plus and more. Odoo blog actually makes this functionality in an easier way. We can manage these blogs and blog posts on Odoo back end and can be designed using Odoo cms editor. Using the designing snippets from the Odoo cms snippet pool, we can just drag and drop the contents.
To enable the blog feature, install Blogs module from Odoo apps.
Then select the website application and then click on the blogs. Under the blog menu you can manage the blogs and create new blogs by selecting the blog posts.
To create a blog select Blog Posts.
From here you can create a blogs and its posts.
According to the number of visitors blogs post's number of views will updated.
From the following screen we can select the blog which is going to create the post, the title, subtitle, tags. Tags can be created under the blog menu. Under the publishing options we can select the author and while publishing the posts we can manage this to be visible to visitors. Using the website publishing button blog, admin can easily publish it to the public.
The created posts managed under the website page named Blogs. From there public can read and share the contents. The user with access of admin or website editor can easily design with cms editor.
Admin can enable the customizable options like in the below screen to make them more interactive.
Select to tweet, Author Avatar, Allow blog post to comment are the extra options for blogs, after allowing this will add new contents on blogs.
Blog posts also has a option for SEO optimisation. You can add keywords, references, which helps to promote and get this page efficiently referenced in Google to attract more visitors.
Then in the following screen, you can add the page title,description and number of keywords, so Odoo gives you the preview of on Google search results.
After entering the details click on the Save button to save.
