Linux System Administrator / Cloud Support Engineer
Technaureus is looking for a skilled and motivated Linux System Administrator / Cloud Support Engineer with 1–2 years of experience to join our team in Calicut, Kerala. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Linux server administration, AWS cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and application deployment. Experience with Odoo ERP or Django will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux servers and AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Work with AWS services including EC2 and other core cloud services.
- Configure and maintain Nginx and Apache web servers.
- Monitor server performance, applications, and cloud infrastructure.
- Manage databases, networking, SSL/TLS certificates, and related services.
- Support applications including Odoo ERP and Django-based applications.
- Implement and maintain server backups and recovery processes.
- Monitor system security and apply necessary security updates.
- Work with Git and GitLab for source code and deployment management.
- Use Docker for application deployment and environment management.
- Assist with automation and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot server, application, networking, and infrastructure issues.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Linux server administration.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and EC2.
- Good understanding of networking and server security.
- Experience with Nginx or Apache.
- Knowledge of databases and SSL/TLS configuration.
- Familiarity with Git/GitLab and Docker.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of monitoring, backups, and system maintenance.
- Experience with Odoo ERP or Django is highly preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in Linux system administration, cloud support, DevOps, or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with Linux and AWS is required.
