Users can handle multiple companies, go to :

Settings -->Users and Companies -->Users to manage the companies between the users.

You can also add companies to certain users in this way.

Here another user has given right, only to handle one company.

Lets do a sale by Marc Demo to illustrate this. Create a quotation in :

Sales -->Orders--> Quotation--> Create

As admin can see all the quotations details, log in to admin panel and see that the quotation has been sent from the same company allotted to Marc Demo user.
