Employee contract is a mutual agreement between employer and employee in an organization. It indicates the relationship between both parties. Odoo is an integrated open source application which efficiently manages the employee requisites. By signing the contract, employees are agreeing to obey the rules and regulations of the company. Which mainly talks about the salary structure, working hours and contract type of a particular job.
It is possible to create employee contract in Odoo. In order to calculate payslip, each employee should need contract. Keep track of your employee’s work information such as contract details, salary structure, employee name, department, job position and contract terms. You can select the employee Department and other basic information from the window and assign the contract directly to the employee. If you already entered the employee information then Odoo will automatically fill the fields like department, job title etc.
You can create more than one contract for each employee. We can set the contract under Running, To Renew and Expired. But payslip can be created only when the contract is under Running state.
