In Odoo user can create Point Of Sales - POS invoice also. An invoice is a document given to the buyer by the seller to collect payment. It includes the cost of the products purchased or services rendered to the buyer. Invoices can also serve as legal records. That is, if they contain the names of the seller and client, description and price of goods or services, and the terms of payment. The invoice allows you to record the sale you have just make in the POS module into the account module like journal entry. You are working in an ERP.
Let us see how we can create POS invoice in Odoo:
Under the bills and receipts section tick that check box which enables the option invoicing.
Then go back to the Dashboard and select your Point Of Sale. After that select products, set a customer and click the payment button.
Then we can see a new button name as invoice will appear there, select it and click the button validate.
Then the invoice will be download and we can view it.
