Sales Channel In Odoo

Sales channels have an important role in sales management. The sales channel is a way of getting products or services to customers directly or indirectly. Choosing a proper sales channel is one of the most important decisions business owners will make. Sales channel focuses to increase sales or outcome. The kind of sales channel additionally characterizes the method of marketing to be done. The type of marketing of business channel is direct for the business-to-Consumer type of marketing. Sales channel in Odoo crm place an important role in sales management of Odoo Open ERP.

Sales Channel management in Odoo 11 ERP

Configuration:
Go to:

Sales→Configuration→Sales Channels

create a new Sales Channel In Odoo

Here you can create a new Sales Channel by clicking on create button or edit existing channels.

Then click on Add and add team members.

Option for add team membersIn the Dashboard tab, you can set Invoicing Target and fill other fields.

Then you can see a channel report of a newly created channel with existing channels.

the sales pipeline is the best indicator of a company's health and the place to see deals. A well-managed pipeline is the best way to stay in control of sales results.

There are 4 stages

  • New
  • Qualified
  • Proposition
  • Won

View of overall pipelineWe can add new opportunities by clicking on the Create button or click on the ‘+’ button.

After that, add opportunity title, customer, expected revenue etc.

Then click on the Create button on the bottom.

 Opportunity pipeline viewThe new opportunity is added to the New section. Then click on the newly created opportunity.

for editing these values click on Edit button.

Then go back to Sales Channels, here also display probability amount and no. opportunities.

In the Opportunity pipeline, we can change the stage by dragging the opportunity.

Drag the opportunity from New to Qualified by using a mouse.

Make change to status of opportunityWhen the Opportunity reach at final stage Won, the probability of getting expected revenue will be 100%.

When you create a new quotation you can set sales channel also.
