Import Lot/Serial Number in Incoming Shipment in Odoo

Importing lot/serial number is an important task and it must be done carefully. When purchase orders are big on regular basis the whole process become super lengthy. We developed a module, which helps you to import lot/serial number in incoming shipment in odoo using excel file. It will make whole process so simple and less time consuming.

Configuration:

1.Inventory -> Configuration -> Settings -> Traceability

Check Lots & Serial Numbers

2. In Product form set Traceability as By Unique Serial Number or By Lots

Purchase your Product:

1. Create a purchase order
   2. Confirm Order and Receive product

3. Click on lot/serial icon

4. Click on Upload your file, then upload file in ‘.xlsx’ or ‘.xls’ format.

The excel file should be contain two columns such as lot/serial number and reference.

5. Click on Import button. Then Lot/Serial number will be imported with internal reference.

6. Click on Confirm button.

7. Then Validate your incoming shipment.

8. Go to:

Inventory -> Master Data -> Lots/Serial Numbers

Lot/Serial number will added with internal reference.

In such a way, Import Lot/Serial Number in Incoming Shipment in Odoo can be done.
